Vodka Margarita

Spread the coarse salt on a small plate. Run a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim into the salt until coated.

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the vodka, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup or agave nectar if using. Shake well.

Strain into the prepped glass filled with ice. Garnish with an extra lime wedge and serve immediately.
