Lavender Syrup Recipe

In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and dried lavender buds. Over medium-high heat,  let it simmer gently for 2 minutes.

Remove the saucepan from the heat. Cover it and let the lavender buds steep in the warm syrup for at least 30 minutes.

Pour the syrup through a fine-mesh strainer into a clean glass jar or bottle. Let the syrup cool completely.
