Add the fresh lime juice, vanilla vodka, cream of coconut, triple sec, and simple syrup to the shaker.

Shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosted.

Strain the mixture into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with a slice of lime, if desired.
