Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the vodka, fresh lime juice, and Aperol.

Shake well for about 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.

Run a lime twist around the rim of the glass and drop it inside as garnish before serving.
