Pour the gin, crème de cassis, and fresh lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. Add plenty of ice and shake well.

Fill a highball glass with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail over the ice, top with club soda, and gently stir.

Garnish with fresh blackberries. Serve immediately.
