Pour the grenadine into a shot glass, enough to coat the bottom, approximately 1/4 ounce.

Carefully layer 1/2 ounce of sambuca over the grenadine by pouring it slowly over the back of a spoon to prevent mixing.

Add 1/2 ounce of Irish cream liqueur over the sambuca layer using the same spoon technique to maintain distinct layers.
