Ingredients

  • 6 mint leaves plus extra for garnish
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 2 1/2 ounces bourbon

Instructions

  • Muddle the mint leaves, water, and powdered sugar in a julep cup.
  • Fill the cup with crushed ice.
  • Pour in the bourbon and stir it thoroughly until you see the glass frost.
  • Add a touch of green with an extra sprig of mint on top.
