Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • 1 ounce dark rum
  • 1 ounce gold rum
  • 1 1/2 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1/4 ounce grenadine
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Orange slice for garnish

Instructions

  • Add 1/2 cup of crushed ice to a mixing glass. Add the dark rum, gold rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, grenadine, and bitters.
  • Use a swizzle stick or a long barspoon to stir vigorously until the mixture is frothy.
  • Fill a rock glass with ice cubes. Pour in the swizzled drink and garnish with an orange slice and a cocktail umbrella before serving.
