Ingredients

  • 6 blackberries plus more for garnish
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 ounce simple syrup
  • 2 ounces gin
  • Chilled club soda to top
  • Lemon slice for garnish

Instructions

  • In a cocktail shaker, add the blackberries, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Gently muddle to release the juices.
  • Pour in the gin and fill the shaker with ice. Shake until well chilled.
  • Fill a highball or collins glass with fresh ice. Strain the cocktail into the glass, then top with club soda.
  • Stir gently and garnish with a lemon slice and a few blackberries.
