Combine the lime-flavored gelatin mix with 1 cup of boiling water in a mixing bowl. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.

Add the cold water, tequila, triple sec, and fresh lime juice to the gelatin mixture. Stir until everything is well combined.

Pour the mixture into small shot cups. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until the gelatin is set.
