Ingredients

  • 6 peach slices skin on and ripe
  • 1 tablespoon simple syrup
  • 3 ounces moonshine
  • 1 basil leaf optional garnish

Instructions

  • Place 5 peach slices and the simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Muddle lightly to release the peach flavor.
  • Pour in the moonshine and add enough ice cubes to fill the shaker. Shake well for about 15 seconds.
  • Strain the mixture into a chilled rocks glass. Garnish with a basil leaf and a peach slice if desired, then serve immediately.
