Enjoy the party by having your guests’ drinks ready to pour with this Margarita Pitcher recipe.

So, you agreed to throw a party for you and your friends this weekend, and now you’re stressing out. Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us. A million things are racing through your mind… What kind of music should you play? Will there be ample parking? Should you order some cold cuts, let everybody make sandwiches? And what about drinks? Everyone will want a cocktail, but what would make all of your guests happy?

Tonight’s recipe is your new best friend, the Margarita Pitcher. A large batch of the classic libation, this mixture is not only perfect for the spring and summer months, but also works when you need to bring everybody indoors if the weather isn’t cooperating. And this also cuts down on the number of folks that might start requesting drinks you aren’t quite prepared for or have the time to make, especially if you’re entertaining. When people arrive, all you have to say is that the Margaritas will be served shortly… and all day long if they like.

Having a pitcher of ready-to-pour adult beverages will keep everybody from wondering where the drinks are, and if there’s anyone designated to play bartender. You don’t want to run around like crazy at your own soirée, so why not have everything ready to go so that all that work is already done for you? If somebody’s thirsty or ready for another round, the Margarita Pitcher is ready to put a smile on every face.

Just make sure you’ve made more than one pitcher. Always be prepared.

What Is The Best Tequila To Use In A Margarita Pitcher?

Depending on how spicy and robust you’d like your Margarita Pitcher to taste, you can opt to use either a clear silver tequila, or an amber-colored and aged reposado. The silver will be crisp and agave-forward, while the reposado will have a smoother texture, along with hints of caramel, vanilla and oak. Choose your tequila depending on how you’d like your Margaritas to taste.

WHAT GLASSWARE AND GARNISH ARE USED?

You’ll want a large pitcher to mix this recipe in, one big enough to hold a party’s worth of cocktails. Keep it covered in your fridge, and when you’re ready to pour, garnish each individual serving with a lime wedge. Regarding the actual glasses, disposable Margarita cups are easily available, and will keep you from doing dishes all night.

CAN YOU MAKE FLAVORED MARGARITA PITCHERS?

Yes. Choose your favorite variation and add the appropriate ingredients accordingly. You can use our recipes, like the Strawberry or Mango Margaritas, to guide you.
