Ingredients

  • 4 ounces tomato juice
  • 2 ounces tequila blanco
  • 1/4 lemon divided into 2 wedges
  • 1/4 lime divided into 2 wedges
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
  • 1 pinch celery salt plus extra for the rim
  • 1 pinch smoked paprika plus extra for the rim
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Mix celery salt with smoked paprika on a shallow plate. Rub one lime wedge around the rim of a tall glass, then dip the rim into the seasoning to coat it evenly.
  • Fill the glass with ice.
  • In a cocktail shaker or a large cup, combine the tomato juice, tequila, juice from one lemon wedge, juice from one lime wedge, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, celery salt, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Stir well and taste to adjust seasonings if needed.
  • Strain into the prepared glass. Garnish with the remaining lemon and lime wedges if desired.
