Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries hulled
  • 2 cups orange juice chilled, divided
  • 1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine (750 ml), chilled
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Place the fresh strawberries and 1 cup of the orange juice in a blender. Blend until smooth. Fine strain into a large cup.
  • Pour the remaining 1 cup of orange juice between each champagne flute. Each glass should be around a quarter full.
  • Top each slowly with the strawberry mixture, then carefully add chilled champagne or sparkling wine until the glass is full.
  • Serve immediately, garnished with a fresh strawberry.
