A provocative name for a creamy and delicious party shooter, the Blow Job Shot is an unforgettable experience.

One must be careful when discussing this evening’s recipe. You’ve read the title, or an internet search brought you here instead of somewhere else on the web. Either way, you know what I’m getting at. And this wouldn’t be the first adult beverage to be christened with a somewhat blue and blush-worthy name. Sex On The Beach, anyone?

The first time I encountered this shooter was at an acquaintance’s birthday party somewhere in New Jersey. The bartender lined up a row of shots in front of all of us, told us what they were, we laughed and then proceeded to drink… but with one caveat: we had to keep our hands behind our backs and take the shot by only using our mouths. It was challenging, and in some cases embarrassing once some of us figured out what we were mimicking. But the simple, layered and whipped cream-topped treat went down easy, no pun intended. Or maybe it is…

I remembered the experience quite well, even a number of years later. Especially the laughs everyone had. The flavor stuck with me as well, and was quite tasty. Kahlúa and Baileys sitting atop one another, garnished with a dollop of frosty, whipping cream. No matter what it’s called, the mouth waters at the thought of those flavors coming together.

One evening, not too long ago, I was out with friends and we were sharing stories about crazy drinks we’ve had in the past. I mentioned the story above, and everyone was intrigued. Already a few cocktails into the evening, I suggested we go for a round, and they’d be my treat. Sounded good to them, so off I went, a tad tipsy sauntering up to the bar. The barkeep, a large, terrifying-looking but friendly chap, smiled as I approached. “I’d like a Blow Job”, I excitedly said to him.

The smile faded. And as his massive fist flew toward my face with supersonic speed, I realized much too late that I should’ve used the word SHOT. I’d like a Blow Job SHOT.

Lesson learned.

What Is The Best Alcohol To Use For A Blow Job?

Kahlúa coffee liqueur and Baileys Irish Cream liqueur are the most common and easily accessible brands of what we’ll need to make a Blow Job Shot. There are others out there that you can find at your local liquor store, if you’d like to try something a little different, but these two are tried and true, and have yet to let me down in any recipe that calls for their use. For this shot, I recommend chilling both liqueurs in the fridge before serving.

Other “Dirty” Cocktails Worth Trying

In the mood for a drink? Maybe something that’s randy, or a little naughty-sounding? The Blow Job Shot is always good for a blush or two, but what other cocktails are out there that you would never order in front of your mother? Twist & Toast has a fine collection of smirk-inducing tipples, so if you like serving a cheeky elixir or two to your friends, try some of these out on them.

  • Slippery Nipple – This classic, smooth and raunchy-sounding shot is just as popular today as it was in the 1980s.
  • Buttery Nipple – Butterscotch helps make this Nipple a tasty one.
  • Sex with an Alligator – This dangerous-sounding cocktail is a surefire conversation starter.
  • Sex in the Driveway – A potent, blue-colored and fizzy concoction that will quench your cravings.
