Are you ready to have a good time with a Red Headed Slut Shot tonight?

Recently, my girlfriend came into the living room and asked point-blank if I’d be interested in watching the classic 1990s television series Melrose Place with her. You see, she’s really into podcasts and heard about it on a show, got nostalgic and decided it was time for a rewatch. Sounded like fun, but Melrose Place? Me?? One half of the duo that started Los Angeles’ very first James Bond film and social society???

Sure, why not?

So I’m up to season four right now, and I have to admit, I’m hooked. I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole and I just keep tumbling. I’ve also desperately fallen in love with Josie Bissett and her character Jane. Especially with her super cute haircut in season three, I totally went head over heels gaga for her. But I’ll never understand why she slept with Michael in Las Vegas after they got divorced because he was cheating on her with Kimberly at the hospital and then slept with Sydney, Jane’s younger red-headed sister. And then he married her, too! I think I’m even getting the timeline of his infidelities mixed up, he’s such a pig on the show. Sorry, I got really wrapped up in the craziness.

Yeah, Sydney might be a redhead, and tonight’s shot might be called the Red Headed Slut, but we all know that it’s Michael Mancini that’s the real tramp.

What Is The Best Alcohol To Use In The Red Headed Slut Shot?

To help the cranberry juice make our Red Headed Slut the right shade of crimson, we’ll need two spirits that’ll also help sweeten the deal. Some peach schnapps, maybe a bottle of classic DeKuyper Peachtree, will help bring a fruity softness to each sip, or mouthful. The Jägermeister that’s needed is what really brings the kick, both in alcoholic content and its syrupy, complex flavor.

WHAT GLASSWARE AND GARNISH ARE USED?

Chill a shot glass in your freezer for 15 to 30 minutes to help make your shooters extra cold. Pop a cherry in for garnish if you wish.

WHAT MAKES THIS SHOT SO SLUTTY?

Maybe it’s the deep red color it has, or its very sweet and decadent taste. Maybe it’s just a naughty name meant to garner attention. It really shouldn’t matter, as long as you’re having a good time.

Other Naughty Shots Worth Trying

There’s something about mixed drinks with not-safe-for-work names that seems to capture our juvenile and thirsty imaginations. Are we so randy we have to have a cocktail or shot with a title that’d send us to the principal’s office back in the day? Yes. Yes, we are.

  • Wet Pussy Shot – Peach schnapps helps out another naughty recipe.
  • Blow Job Shot – Smooth, fun and creamy, this party favor is sure to get people talking.
  • Buttery Nipple – Butterscotch and Irish Cream combine to make this tasty classic.
  • Slippery Nipple Shot – Sambuca and Irish cream make this Nipple a popular one.
